Plan trips without a subscription

The going rate for planning your own holiday is $40–60 a year: Wanderlog Pro at $39.99, TripIt Pro at $49, Layla Prime at $49, Tripsy Premium at $59 — and each free tier is shaped to make you feel the ceiling, with offline, export or the PDF of your own trip held back.

The whole planner is the free tier

Trips, day-by-day itinerary with maps, budget with splits, packing, bookings and documents. Not a trial, not a taste.

Export is not a feature, it’s a right

JSON and XLSX download of all your data, free, always — the thing every subscription in this field charges for or withholds.

If premium ever comes, it only adds

Nothing you can do today will move behind a paywall. That is written down, in public, on the pledge page.

The catalog is free too

Itineraries you can copy into your own trip and edit — each one shows what was checked and when, with the audit trail printed on the page.

The honest part

What the paid apps buy you today that we don’t have: native apps with offline mode (a PWA is in progress), booking-email import, and real-time collaboration (coming). This is a young product with an old-fashioned deal: the tool is free and your data is yours.

The difference is structural

Subscription planners need the paywall — export, offline and PDF are their conversion levers. Our model forbids that: the core planner is free forever, premium can only ever add, and export and delete are never paywalled. That is a published commitment, not a promo. Read the pledge.
