A Wanderlog alternative for planners who want their data back

Wanderlog is the strongest day-by-day planner in the field, and its real-time collaboration is genuinely good. The complaints its own users document are about everything around the planning: Google Maps export and offline are behind Pro ($39.99/yr), the budget tools are a known weak point, and Trustpilot reviews describe surprise trials and hard cancellation.

Export is free here, always

Your full trip data downloads as JSON or XLSX in one click, on the free plan, forever. No Pro gate between you and your own plan.

A budget that actually budgets

Estimated vs actual per line, per-person splits and settle-up, and a currency hint for foreign prices — the piece Wanderlog users most often call weak.

A verified catalog instead of a popular one

Wanderlog guides rank by popularity. Every itinerary in our catalog prints its receipts — which venues were checked, against which sources, and when.

No account scanning

Wanderlog offers Gmail auto-scan; we will only ever parse what you explicitly forward (and that import is still in the works — see below).

The honest part

What Wanderlog has that we don’t yet: real-time collaboration (in scope for launch), booking-email import (planned, forwarding-only by design), and native apps. If those are your dealbreakers today, Wanderlog is the better tool for you — that’s an honest trade.

The difference is structural

Subscription planners need the paywall — export, offline and PDF are their conversion levers. Our model forbids that: the core planner is free forever, premium can only ever add, and export and delete are never paywalled. That is a published commitment, not a promo. Read the pledge.
